How the COG program works
1. Donors must contribute at least $5,000+, $20,000+, or $50,000+ per year to enter Circle of Giving levels Asha, Vidya, or Ananda, respectively.
2. Within a given year, a donor’s tier begins when the minimum donation amount is reached. Inclusion in the tier lasts for 12 months.
EXAMPLE 1: Jay gives $1,000 every month in 2025 for 5 months starting in January; he enters the Asha tier in June 2025. He will be a member of Asha till June 2026. If his donation throughout that year reaches $20,000, he will be upgraded to Vidya.
EXAMPLE 2: Raj gives $20,000 in January 2025; he enters Vidya tier in January 2025. He will be a member of Vidya till January 2026. If he donates an additional $30,000 in 2025, he will be upgraded to Ananda.
