Meet Nasir Baig - An Avsar Program Beneficiary
Nasir Baig was determined to become a Chartered Accountant. From a low-income household, he is the eldest of three brothers. His father works at a factory producing incense sticks, while his mother is a homemaker. A long-time beneficiary of the Mid-Day Meal Programme, Nasir was inspired by his school faculty and Akshaya Patra to pursue his dream, after completing Class 10. He received a scholarship under the Foundation's AVSAR Scholarship Programme to pursue his CA course. In early 2022, he passed his examinations and wishes to go on to work in the manufacturing or fast-moving consumer goods industries, to eventually start his firm.
