How the COG program works
1. Donors must contribute at least $5000+, $20,000+ or $50,000+ per year to enter Circle of Giving levels Asha, Vidya or Ananda respectively.
2. Within a given year, a donor’s tier begins when the minimum donation amount is reached. Inclusion in the tier lasts for a 12 month period.
EXAMPLE 1: Jay gives $1000 every month in 2024 for 5 months starting in January, he enters Asha tier in June 2024. He will be a member of Asha till June 2025. If his donation throughout that year reaches $20,000, he will be upgraded to Vidya.
EXAMPLE 2: Raj gives $20,000 in January 2024, he enters Vidya tier in January 2024. He will be a member of Vidya till January 2025. If he donates an additional $30,000 in 2024, he will be upgraded to Ananda.
